How To Decline An Event

Declining A New Event

  • Click here for a step by step visual guide, or follow the steps below.

  • From your Dashboard, click on Confirm Events.

  • To review the details of the event before you confirm, click on the down arrow next to the Confirm button and click on Details.

  • The next screen will display the details of the event. Once you have finished reviewing, click on the X in the top right corner to close this page and return to the Confirm Events screen.

  • Below the Details button, click on the Decline button.

  • You can select a reason you are declining the event from the list provided, or click on the Other button to add a different reason for declining the event.

  • After adding your reason for declining the event, click on the red Decline button.

  • Click on the X in the top right corner to return to your dashboard.

Declining An Event Already Confirmed

  • From your Dashboard, click on the Upcoming Events icon or Click on the Events tab at the top of your screen.

    • The Events tab will show all past and future events, whereas the Upcoming Events icon will only show future events.

  • On the Events screen, you can sort the events from old to new, or new to old.

  • Follow the same procedures as above to click on Decline, add your reason for declining, and then confirming the decline.

*If your company requires any additional notification for canceling an event outside of declining in Promomash, be sure to follow their notification policy as well.
